Aisha Jamila Hinds is a popular American actor. Her fame is due to her roles in the television series The Shield, and True Blood. Ever since her debut in 2003 she has proved her abilities in the role of actress with amazing performances on TV shows such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7 and Under the Dome. In 2005, she gained attention first for her performance as Anna as Anna in Assault on Precinct 13 However it was her performance as feminist activist Fannie Lou Hamer from the documentary film All the Way that finally brought her recognition as an actor. Hind is also being acknowledged for her performance in the role she played as Harriet Tubman within WGN America's drama series set in the past called Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television renewed the series for a new season. Hind has recently finished filming the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The film is set to be released in mid-2019.
